Steve Figueroa, keyboardist from Laguna Pueblo, is fluent in many musical styles—but his focus is jazz and Latin. Much in demand on the New Mexico music scene, Steve plays with groups such as his own Native-American jazz trio "Red Hot & Red", as well as Tetragon, Calle 66, Tradiciones, Ryan Montaño, Hillary Smith, Sparx & Lorenzo Antonio, The New Mexico Symphony and the New Mexico Jazz Latino Orchestra. He has also performed with jazz luminaries such as Clark Terry, Frank Morgan, Doug Lawrence, Mike Clark, James Newton, and David Murray.

Ryan Montaño, trumpet, turns the heat up a notch with his lush sound, his agility and finesse.

Jonathan Rodriguez, classically trained drummer, expanded his sound palette studying Afro-Cuban rhythms in Cuba. That will be evident as he sets the whole thing on fire!

Andy Zadrozny, one of New Mexico's most in-demand jazz bassists, plays a supporting role to this stellar cast of young musicians.

This free concert is made possible by a grant from the Peter & Madeline Martin Foundation For The Creative Arts.
